Daily attack on Diwaniyah XIV/07

The spiral keeps going down, with no end in sight :

June 13-14
During the night Camp Echo in Diwaniyah is hit four times by rockets and/or mortars, and Camp Delta in Al Kut twice (Lv MoD)

The Mahdi army is busy these days. Four times in one night, thats a new low in hostility. We are real close to the "Hourly attack on Diwaniyah" here.

Hello: I am glad that I found your blog. I have not been able to find any news articles about Camp Echo, even though there have been a lot of attacks there. My brother John is a KGB employee at Camp Echo. I don't have the latest news from him, but my other brother heard from John that in the past week, a suicide bomber was stopped at the gates to Camp Echo. Will send more details on this once I hear from John.

Info from my brother at Camp Echo: There was a suicide bomber incident on June 15. A car pulled up to the gate and exploded. Also, there have been continuous heavy machine gun attacks at the gates. One night last week, he said that over 50 rockets and mortar shells hit inside the base.

maybe you could detail where they hit, so the enemy can fine tune the launching and actually hit something,

I believe that our military will gain control...read yahoo news...story broke out in regards to diwaniyah...it is finally good to hear our jets doing something for the many soldiers...the polish are humanitarians so they need the assistance to show they will not sit idle while being attacked. They need to be aggressive to show we are not playing either...

Extra info is appreciated but always think OPSEC!

As for the air strikes - that will most likely have a heavy price. If there was proper ground forces available to control Diwaniyah that would never be neccessary.
